I've really enjoyed this thread, thanks for posting. Isn't it fascinating how from asking a simple, unprovocative question so many people get down right mean and nasty?

Before I get on topic I think it's very peculiar (and also a downright shame) how mean America has really become. The politics, the "national discussions", right down to the talking head pundits and radio hosts have saddly inundated the American consciousness with a type of meanness that, well, I've never seen before.

If mean is the harshest thing he can admit to, then I am not worried. I would rather be mean and have a few dorks dislike me rather than be like China, Iran, N Korea, Russia, Pakistan, Palestine, Mexico, Cuba, etc (you get my point, I hope).
