okay the title is misleading. george said hey abdullah, it's time we were frank & earnest with each other. abdullah agreed but 'only if i get to be ernest this time.'

is this just a shameless ploy to get the crown prince to give him another $130,000 in jewelry...or a clue as to why that same sex marriage amendment seems to have slipped between the cracks?

The thing is, guys holding hands is a long time custom in the Arab world. When we first got to Saudi Arabia, a lot of troops were convinced that ever Arab man must be gay (or at least Bi), because you never see a man and woman holding hands in public, but you can't swing a dead camel without hitting 100 men holding hands. ;~D

i read that line several times cuz something was nagging at me but it wasnt til about the 4th read that i realized what it was. do they each only hold the other's right hand or ???? no wonder they got into that whirling dervish thing.
