As Well As What Our Country Has Done for Cheney
Published on June 29, 2010 By kingbee In Politics

again last week we had to confront the approaching inevitability of a future with no dick.

were dick cheney able to devise a workaround for evading mortality, i'm positive he'd keep kickin it here til the galaxy's final light was extinguished.  absent that, he--like each of us--continues moving forward into the past.

immediately after he's no longer around, we'll find ourselves amidst an emotional maelstrom far more intense than last week's.  overwhelmed by sturm und drang mit scheisse,  will not hysterical blathering totally trump considered opinion and rational analysis depriving us one and all of at least one unintended benefit arising from cheney's demise.

it's my hope we can have another sorta dick conversation.  in this one, we all come away better informed and, possibly even somewhat a tiny bit less aggressively contentious overall.

in that spirit i invite anyone and everyone willing to offer insight or provide answers to one or more of the following

does dick cheney qualify as an outstanding conservative...an outstanding republican...and human being?  If so, why? .

Boring.

So boring, bored as I am, I'm too bored to bother.

o boring, bored as I am, I'm too bored to bother.

that's a relief.

this one took me 9.5 hours from concept to completion--mostly cuz i kept nodding off (a distinctly different state than 'nodding out') and i was just gonna browse back by this diagnose yourself site where i'd been earlier running a battery of tests on myself and already ruled out everything BUT iron deficiency anemia (also known by its scientific name: 'tired blood'), sleeping sickness or narcolepsy.

apparently my condition is deteriorating rapidly.  last thing i can recall after hitting the submit button was watching that lil animated thing spin around and around and around.   hours later after falling outta my chair i discovered someone musta snuck in and clicked the button again while i was out cold,

I'm not a cheerleader for Cheney, but he isn't afraid to speak his mind, which drives liberals nuts.  Oh, and did I mention Cheney drives liberals nuts, which is enough for anyone to like him.

Sounds like someone has a little dick envy.  Do you like the Army of Dick (Dick Army?)  Was senator Byrd a good liberal? West Virginia was at the bottom or near the bottom of wealth and income of States during his entire long term.  Does that make a liberal good?

Even better, Al Gore is a good liberal! Does Al Gore qualify as an outstanding liberal...an outstanding democrat...and human being?  If so, why?

As for Cheney, I agree with Nitro. I would also add that I didn't agree with everything that Bush or he did.

Because he never makes sense.

...and while we are discussing old history... damn that Zachary Taylor....he totally ruined the Whig party.

Case in point well made ID.

does dick cheney qualify as an outstanding conservative

Can't say for sure, never really tried to get to know the guy.

an outstanding republican

If by that you mean standing out then I would say yes considering you wrote not 1 but 2 articles about him, especially when your appearances on JU are almost about as often as New Year Day comes around.

and human being

Well based on the definition of "human being" I would have to say yes as well unless this definition has been changed and I don't know about it.

I'm not a cheerleader for Cheney, but he isn't afraid to speak his mind, which drives liberals nuts. Oh, and did I mention Cheney drives liberals nuts, which is enough for anyone to like him.

When articles like these are created about people who, according to Democrats, are not threats (like Sarah Palin), makes you wonder why do they fear that which does not, supposedly, threaten them.

Sounds like someone has a little dick envy

Sounds about right. He seems to like Dick since he has 2 articles in a row about Dick.

Because he never makes sense.

What you are really trying to say is that you are incapable of understanding him. See how easy your own words can be used against you?

A little early to start eulogizing Cheney.... tacky stuff buddy... real tacky.

that's the conservative acid test these days?

good thing all the old school authentic practitioners passed before that became the standard.

it goes a long way to explain sarah palin's poll numbers and how boehner made it to the top (although, in his case, ya gotta wonder if flaunting liberal warnings about using sun screen is gonna seem like such a good idea when he has to have a face removed from his melanoma),

so, to summarize, you're either unable or unwilling to offer an opinion other than nitro's (which seems to have been posted subsequent to yours--pretty impressive demonstration of psychic powers).

what's grey, has four legs and a trunk?

irrelevant?  irright.
