Who Woulda Guessed?
Published on November 17, 2004 By kingbee In Current Events

i've had a very distressing personal problem for a while.  to put it as briefly as possible, my lizard didnt seem to be responding the way it shoulda.  as recently as a year ago, it certainly didnt require any effort on my part...the ol lizard would be up day and nite.

as you can see from this pic taken last weekend, my lizard appeared to be pretty much permanently down for the count.

this isnt the kinda thing a guy can talk about to even his closest friends (specially if ya only have female close friends and hell they already know somehow).  so you can imagine my joy when--even tho i normally tune them out--i heard an ad on tv for a product to improve reptile dysfunction!

fortunately i had plenty of people emailing me with amazing offers for this stuff.  as you can see the lil guy is up and lookin pretty perky too.   now if i could just get him to stop humpin the heatrock.

It's probably stupid of me to ask this, but were there really 'wild thing' ads?

im glad you did tho.

Me, too! Very clever . . . and who doesn't love lizards?

they have ads for all three of the big erectile dysfunction drugs running one after another during the national evening news.   the most recent viagra ads showed a middle aged couple windowshopping and the voiceover went something like....remember wildthing? the guy who insisted on spending the entire honeymoon in your room? (ext shot couple looking at some lingerie)  well hes back!  (the guy grows some stylized horns as the scene changes to the woman selecting the lingerie to purchase it)  he takes viagra to treat erectile dysfunction..bla bla bla.  i believe the last shot shows em smiling conspiratorally.  woman's voice over...thanks to viagra, my wild thing is back.

this is a pretty sketchy approximation but ya get the drift im sure.
