if you are at all into exotic cars (a lotus body with a celica engine for the us market is about as exotic as it gets) , attack helicopters, bizarre use of military hardware, you really want to see this.

the car does 150mph (roughly) costs 30k uk pounds (im not sure how much that is in dollars), looks beautiful from the outside, very spartan inside (sun visors are among the options),. the spoilers and dams actually work, it comes with stock racing slicks and corners 'like a fly'. the celica engine has been tweaked just a tad and has two computer-selected cams. the net effect is equivalent to a saturn rocket in a blender.

speaking of rockets in blenders, they bring in an apache gunship helicopter with a british army crew to try and lock-on to the lotus as it maneuvers around a track. you really need to see this to believe it.

this thing is 9 mins long and worth every second but youll probably enjoy it a lot more if you have broadband cuz its streaming video. the link below will take you there.

i was pretty tired when i first posted this so i didnt provide enough info about the double cams to make it clear what thats all about. when the rpms exceed 6270 (close if not totally accurate) the computer switches over from economy to speed mode. instead of torquing out, the car goes even faster. when you corner, the computer keeps the engine revving high so you maintain the 6200+ rpms as youre coming out of the turn.
