DMZ Will Never Be The Same!
Published on November 20, 2006 By kingbee In Politics

samsung and korea university have moved forward into the past and built one of those things only ever seen previously in asian sci-fi movies: a robot sentry armed with a 5.5 machinegun for deployment along the dmz.   it sees with two zooming cameras (regular for daytime, infrared for nite), issues commands through a speaker system and is claimed to be able to tell the difference between humans and like trees n stuff (a talent which still eludes some live domestic security guards).

shortly after they go on duty next year we should quickly find out whether they can be kidnapped cuz i'm guessing it's gonna drive kim nuts to know that while he has nukes, the other team gots da bomb.

i'm also willing to bet sony, panasonic and all the rest will quickly develop rival products...sorta like what happened when those transformer toy things exploded onto the market.

embarassing as it is to admit, i've no clue how to embed the video link or whether it can be done legally so...you'll have to go check it out the old-fashioned way.

I can't see the video since I'm still stuck on this ancient Mac after the power supply on my newer one burned out last year.

Does it look more like this...

...or this?

More like the top one, but one gun, and no legs. They are stationary. A while back there was a cool video of some teens who made a motion sensitive robotic gun with one of those toys that shoot the little yellow pellets. It's like that, only with 5.56mm.

IMHO, it's a waste of money. If you crawl slow enough, and aim steady enough, it wouldn't be much of a problem.

prolly all for the best. i had my volume muted when i first found it. unfortunately that wasn't the case when i returned to try and grab you a couple stills. imagine john philip sousa and the boys playin their greatest hits after a very long night of glue-sniffing, add a half-dozen outrageously overstimulated orang-utans each of which has been equipped with a kettledrum and you've got a vague idea of what you missed.

that robocop thing is the samsung creation's cousin at very least. i prolly coulda snagged a better pic but that damn noise was just like having someone pound whitehot icepicks thru each ear into the center of my brain and i hadda escape.

in this one, the machinegun is that thing on the right.

speaking of damaged brains, here's a samsung robot's brainseye view of a target caught dead in its video screens. what's goin on with that red, yellow & blue thing below the main display is target recognition. according to those characters, it's shouting 'k to the j to the il...you dead as doolnair!"

cheap viagra online

sorry. while i go outta my way to cut costs by buying only used clothing, perishables way past their expiration dates, health care from foreign nationals who may hold mds in places like albania or turkmenistan but who are only licensed here to drive cabs (if that), reassembled full-loss autos at auction, etc., i'll settle for nothing short of the most costly, finest quality ed remedies.

lmao... is there maybe a touch of irony that someone would pick this blog to advertise viagra? Maybe next we could have spammers advertise used corvettes and toupees.
